I travelled all over Paris, the Blahol on my back, filled with letters, papers, documents and packages. The bicycle, in addition to photography and the Trabants, became a real other passion. Somewhat surprising, since I learned cycling relatively late, compared to others who learn it as a little child.
At the age others learn to cycle, I was walking next to the bike. Today my bike, a Koga Miyata Prologue FM-3, white and pink, has become an extension of my body. Always there, everywhere, for rides and trips. The bicycle and its universe belong to the preferred subjects in my work as photographer.
Galerie Solvay was founded by Thibaut Joire-Noulens, photographic artist
The concept store cannot do without coffee, but not just a coffee a very good coffee
A strict selection of the limited editions in order to offer the best
A selection of illustrations in the concept store - why not
Deep inside it is my belief that art is made to be shared and criticised and therefor I designed an interactive and innovative website, developed by Mooverflow. The site gives you the opportunity to have a look at, comment and share the works that are exposed in the gallery.
You are invited to vote for the works on the site that strike you and by doing that, begin or end your experience in Galerie Solvay. A real challenge for me, photographer, continuously looking to produce more and at the same time introduce to you more and better work.
